The Gameplay
Dead Space 3 is a third-person shooter video game developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in February 2013. The game follows protagonist Isaac Clarke’s fight against the Necromorph outbreak aboard the Unitologists’ moonbase.
The Weapons
The player controls Isaac Clarke, who can move in any direction and use a variety of tools and weapons to defeat enemies. Clarke can make use of “kinetic weapons” which kill enemies by usingshaolin techniques instead of traditional bullets. These include the Plasma Cutter, a mining tool which can cut through metal; the Javelin Gun, which fires spears that can impale and electrify enemies; the Ripper, a rotating blade weapon; and the Line Gun, which fires a spread of nails. Each weapon has an alternate firing mode.
In addition to kinetic weapons, Clarke has access to “elemental” weapons. These include the Flamethrower, which ignites enemies; the Force Gun, which uses stasis to pauses enemies; the Frost Gun, which freezes enemies; and the Corruption Cannon, an alien weapon made from biomass that turns living tissue into more biomass.
The game also features a crafting system, which allows the player to create new weaponry and equipment from materials scavenged from fallen enemies or found in the environment. The game’s “Weapon Bench” interface allows players to modify their existing weapons with new upgrades such as scopes or extended magazines.
The Enemies
The main enemy type seen in Dead Space 3 are the Necromorphs, which are reanimated corpses that have been infected by an alien mark. The main objective is to stop the Necromorph outbreak by any means necessary. There are different types of Necromorphs, each with their own unique abilities and strengths.
The most common type of Necromorph seen in Dead Space 3 are the Slashers. Slashers are fast and agile, and can be a real pain if you’re not prepared for them. They usually travel in packs, so it’s best to take them out one by one if possible.
Another type of Necromorph is the Spitter. Spitters are relatively weak on their own, but can be dangerous because of their ranged attacks. They will spit acid at you from a distance, so it’s best to take them out quickly before they have a chance to do too much damage.
The third type of Necromorph is the Brute. Brutes are big and strong, and can be difficult to take down. They will charge at you head-on, so it’s best to use avoidance tactics and hit them when they’re not expecting it. Once you get their health down low enough, they will enter into a frenzy state where they will become even more dangerous.

They then need torace against time to shut it down before it destroys the planet.
After reaching the control room, they find that the controls have been damaged and they need to repair them. However, they are then attacked by a Necromorph called The Corrupter. After defeating it, they are able to repair the controls and shut down the PEA.
With the PEA shut down, Isaac and Carver then need to make their way back to their ship. However, they are again attacked by Necromorphs. They eventually make it back to their ship and escape just as the planet explodes.
